About the Club
Kāpiti BMX Club provides BMX racing and training on the Kāpiti Coast, filling a gap between the Wellington City track (Capital BMX at Ian Galloway Park) and the Porirua area. The club caters to all age groups — from young children trying BMX for the first time to competitive riders racing at regional level. Training sessions help new riders develop proper technique on the start gate and through the track’s sections before moving into competitive racing.
Paraparaumu Beach is the club’s home base, with Atiwa Park providing the track and surrounding space for the club’s activities. The Kāpiti Coast location makes the club the most accessible BMX facility for riders from Paraparaumu, Waikanae, Ōtaki and the wider Kāpiti area.
